Chris Bose

Over 30 years experience in R&D in the biotechnology industry where he learned the statistical and analytical techniques that he now applies to machine learning for lead generation. He has a BSc in Chemistry from Imperial College and a PhD in Biochemistry from Leicester University. He created and built the first version of Lian (including all the ML aspects) used in the initial Proofs of Concept. He also built the first version of the Tableau data visualization system for the first round of POC customers.


Chris is responsible for delivering a working product and all the systems and processes associated with answering the business problem.

Over 35 years broad commercial and financial experience gained through formal qualifications in Accountancy, Marketing and Change Management and extensive experience working for large corporations such as General Electric, Siemens, NCR, Diageo, Reckitt Benckiser and Safeway (now Morrisons).

Demonstrated commercial success in increasing revenues and margins (Siemens, Morrisons), managed 700 strong IT team (Siemens), change management (RB, Kantar and Diageo) and Diversity / sustainability project delivery (DHL).

Other commercial experience includes sales and business development, corporate finance, launching new brands and IT project management.

Chris has three main responsibilities and deliverables. The first is the research and development of the end-to-end processes for customers to engage and use the Lian machine learning solution in order to win new business in the sustainability and greenhouse gas reduction markets. The second key deliverable is the quantification of the regulatory and compliance frameworks in the climate change markets that enables the machine learning solution to identify the customers and their solution requirements within those regulations. Additionally, Chris will manage the commercial aspects of the project and brings experience and knowledge gained from working with McKinsey, Accenture, Deloitte and EY on large, complex projects.
